Die-cutting and indentation layout

The typesetting of die-cutting and indentation plates, commonly known as row knife, is to use various village air materials for steel knives, steel wire or steel molds, and to compose the process operations of molded plates.
First, the classification and characteristics of die-cutting indentation version 1. According to platemaking, different village and sky material points are used. The materials used in the molded plate mainly include steel knives, steel wires, lining materials, and rubber. The position of the steel wire in the mold plate is determined by the material in the village.
(1) Molded versions of metal-based village air materials are:
1 Lead-lined blank material moulded plate. Including a variety of specifications of empty lead, lining lead and lead strips, the specifications of which are the same as the typesetting village type materials; its features are simple and convenient typesetting operation, good flexibility of revision, high reuse rate, low cost and strong practicality. .
2 Steel village air material moulded plate. Such as steel type engraving, steel plate engraving and so on, plate making requires mechanical processing, so the process is complex, difficult, low reuse rate, high cost, long cycle; but durable, more suitable for large quantities or stereotyped products Die-cutting.
3 aluminum village hollow material molded version. The features are light texture and easy processing; however, revision is difficult, and the bottom plate can only be used once, and the cost is also higher.
(2) Molded plates of non-metallic village air materials. The lining materials used include all kinds of wooden boards, zinc-wood nailed boards, plywood, etc. Such lining materials have high precision in plate making, convenient processing and low cost. Due to the staggered plywood fibers, the advantages are even more pronounced. Molded plates made of plywood are lighter in weight and have lower loading costs. Due to the staggered plywood fibers, the advantages are even more pronounced. It is very convenient to use glue.
2. According to the mold plate assembly method.
(1) Integral molded plate. A groove is formed on the entire lining material as a pattern, and a die plate formed by embedding a steel knife or a copper wire in the groove is formed. Its characteristics are high cost, but reliable, durable, easy to install and adjust, convenient storage and backup, and in the round press molding machine can only use the integrated die plate.
(2) Assembled mold plate. The position of the steel knife and copper wire in the entire moulding plate is assembled and fixed by many individual pieces of lining material according to the pattern. It is characterized by flexible revision and high reuse of materials, which can save plate-making materials.
Second, layout design and production Die cut indentation design. The structure of the stamped plate depends on the product structure. The tasks of the layout design include: the size of the embossed plate should be matched with the specifications and working ability of the selected equipment. It is necessary to ensure the quality of the processing, and to make good use of the capabilities of the equipment. The types of plates; the materials and specifications used in the selection of templates; the positions of the templates should be consistent with the printing positions; the working part should be at the center of the template; the lines and graphics should be transplanted to ensure the required precision of the product; the layout must be correct. Straight, horizontal and vertical knife lines are at right angles to each other and parallel to the sides of the stencil. Broken knife and broken line should be aligned. In order to make the steel knife and copper wire of the stencil have good die-cutting adaptability, the die-cutting technology should be taken into account in product design:
(1) The incision of the slotted hole should adopt the whole line as much as possible, and round corners of the line should be rounded to prevent the splicing of steel knives that are perpendicular to each other.
(2) At the joint of two lines, sharp corners should be prevented.
(3) To avoid the connection of multiple adjacent narrow waste edges, the connection portion should be enlarged to form a piece for easy cleaning.
(4) to prevent the emergence of a continuous number of sharp corners, non-functional requirements of the sharp corners, can be rounded,
(5) To prevent the sharp corner line from cutting off to the middle of another straight line. This will make the solid knife difficult, the steel knife easy to loosen, and reduce the die-cutting adaptability; it should be changed to an arc or increase its encounter angle.
2. Die-cutting indentation production. At present, in the production of molded plates, plywood or metal empty lead is often used as the lining material. The production process of these two types of molded plates is slightly different.
(1) Production of the bottom plate. In accordance with the requirements of product design or samples, the die cutting line and the folded indentation line pattern to be cut on the plane unfolding plan are accurately copied to the bottom plate according to the size of the real sample, and the inlaid knife line is manufactured. Slits. The accuracy of pattern reproduction and the quality of the caulking are the key factors affecting the quality of the moulding process.
There are several ways to make a bottom plate: one is to make a plate by hand, that is, to draw or paste the pattern onto the bottom plate, and then use a wire saw to make a stitch. The accuracy of the template depends entirely on the individual skill level of the operator; the second is the use of modern technology, the use of X and Y coordinate systems, segmented repetition methods, and numerical control computer systems, to automate the transfer of replication patterns, plus the template The improvement of the production equipment enables the production of the template to meet the processing requirements with a high degree of precision. In recent years, a laser plate-making system has emerged, which can improve the accuracy and automation of plate-making to a new level, and can be completely eliminated. Human error.
(2) Cutting and forming of steel knives and steel wires. According to the design requirements, the steel cutters and steel wire used for molding are cut into the largest molding section and then processed into the required geometry.
In the die-cutting and indentation processing, the working blade of the steel blade network wire repeatedly acts with the cardboard, so it is required to have higher hardness and wear resistance. However, some die-cut lines are non-linear and still need to be shaped into corresponding shapes. This in turn requires that the material of the steel cutter has high elasticity and toughness. Steel knife material is divided into three kinds: hard, medium and soft. Hard steel knife has high hardness and wear resistance, but it has low elasticity and small degree of bending. Therefore, it is suitable for products with large processing volume, thick cardboard and simple shape. Processing; soft steel knife hardness is low, but the elasticity is good, the bending degree of forming can be large, so it is suitable for processing small quantities, thin paper, complex shape products; medium hard steel knife is between the two.
The length of the steel knife cutting is less suitable for splicing, and it is generally not suitable for cutting after forming; the steel wire of the steel knife after forming should be perpendicular to the cutting edge to keep the steel wire edge extension Every point on the same plane.
(3) Row knife imposition. The row knife is the process of assembling and combining the steel knife, steel wire, and lining material according to the plate-making requirements. When plywood is used as a lining material for rowing, steel knives and steel wires are embedded into the kerf of the bottom plate, and should be perpendicular to the plane of the bottom plate. The gap should be appropriate, and deformation or twisting should not occur during embedding or processing. phenomenon.
When arranging the knife, the interface of the steel knife and steel wire should be arranged in a suitable position, the interface clearance should be appropriate, and the phenomenon that the knife line overlap or the clearance is too large can not occur at the interface due to the pressure. Imposition is the assembly of several die-cut sections into an entire die-cut version. At present, in the process of die-cutting and indentation processing, there are more and more small-sized packaging cartons, so the number of impositions in the row cutters is also increasing. The reasonable combination of rows of knives not only allows good die-cutting processability, but also saves a lot of raw materials. Common imposition combinations are:
1 All-in-one make up. That is, the cartridge cores are tightly lined together, and the same tangent line is used for the common edge of the product, and the two adjacent cores are cut open by one knife during die cutting. The bite should be kept as a straight line when making up the layout, and it is necessary to consider the convenience of the elimination.
2 double-knife make up. That is, there is a waste edge between the adjacent core products, each of which is cut with a separate knife line. For ease of processing and stripping, the waste edges after die-cutting should be able to be joined together. There should be enough clearance between the cores to stick the rubber strips and keep the knife edges clean and smooth. The spacing between the two lines should be greater than smm.
3 Lap bridge construction. If the two cartridges are connected and the common knife line distance is very short, it is easy to break in the die cutting process, which will bring certain difficulties to the operation. This kind of imposition can use lap bridges, that is, in a reasonable position, using the common waste edge of the product as a bridge, which is very favorable for stripping and die cutting operations.
(4) Check the check. After the row knife is completed, a complete inspection of the assembled assembly template is required according to the plate making requirements. After the check is correct, the knife can be officially started.
(5) Solid knife. Also known as pattern or card version, it is to use a lined material to tightly fix the position of the steel knife steel wire, and to fix the lined molded version card in the frame. The template solid knife with blank lead lined material can be fixed directly with the solid plate lock after adding the wood bar around the plate frame. For die-cut plates made of plywood as lining material, the processed slits shall be consistent with the thickness of the steel knife and copper wire so that the knife wire can be tightly squeezed. If necessary, the lining material can be squeezed in the slits, but it cannot be changed. The correct position of the knife line; but also according to the specific layout of the layout of the wood bar, fixed with a solid clamp clip fastened. After fixing, the plate should be centered as much as possible, and there should be a certain clamping force between the lining material and the knife line. If the clamping force is too small, the lining material, steel knife, and steel wire are easy to loosen or even fall off; The size of the clamping force is controlled by the adjustment of the immobilized lock.
(6) Stamp proofs. The purpose is to check the final check to verify that the molded version meets the plate-making requirements and is accurate, and to check if the clamping force is appropriate. After checking, the template can be saved for later use.
