China successfully developed a rapid test box for genetically modified agricultural products

The Shanghai Academy of Agricultural Sciences recently announced that a task force of its biotechnology center successfully developed a test kit for genetically modified agricultural products and put it into production. This is the first time China has had its own rapid detection technology for genetically modified agricultural products since the implementation of the labeling system for genetically modified agricultural products.
It is reported that this kit can systematically detect the exogenous genes of soybean, rapeseed, corn and other genetically modified agricultural products, with high DNA extraction rate and high purity. The research team's scientists said that the kit is easy to operate, the test time is only 50 minutes, the stability of the kit is more than 12 months, the sensitivity of the detection of genetically modified components is 0.1%, reaching the international level of detection.
