Hue Deviation Remedy

In the case of multi-color printing with a monochrome machine, sometimes the printed product does not reach the color close to the original. The color sequence of the book covers published by our factory using monochrome machines is blue, magenta, yellow and black. When the yellow was printed, it was found that the title and the logo did not resemble the reddish purple on the original. If the hue of the printed product was deviated, it might cause the product to be scrapped. Therefore, we added red ink in yellow ink (yellow only to print book titles and emblems) in appropriate proportions. In this way, the book titles and emblems are reddish purple.

Later we discovered that the solution to the above problems turned out to be the result of our use of warm red ink. Generally, the cool colors of magenta are purple, and the shades of blue are bright sky blue and yellow are lemon yellow; the warm colors of magenta are slightly red, the green is slightly green peacock blue, and the yellow is yellow. Therefore, when we use a warm or cold ink to print and still cannot achieve the color atmosphere close to the original, we can try to properly change the hue of a certain color ink.
