Clarifoil, a specialist in the production of cellulose acetate and film-wrapped cartons, has recently developed a new type of cardboard, ultrawhite, for increasing whiteness, for use in cosmetics and personal care products.

At present, on the one hand, consumers prefer the white packaging for the products in the personal care and beauty market. On the other hand, the new ultrawhite has a very good hand. Clarifoil said that ultrawhite has a high-luminosity surface that looks like satin and is very smooth to the touch. Carton producers can choose ultrawhite film carton according to the needs and type of machine.

The structure of cellulose acetate contained in ultrawhite is said to be biodegradable and recoverable. The pulp produced from ultrawhite cartons comes from man-made forests and is a renewable product.

Clarifoil’s Commerce Minister Willins said: “The increasing trend of the retail industry shows that consumers prefer to choose to use the special white packaging of personal care products. We manufacture ultrawhite carton to meet this market demand.”
