Nlpeter Presents UV Flexo and Digital Inkjet Printing Technology

Labelexpo America 2008 (Hall B, Booth 3105/3205). Nilpeter will once again be the largest and most technologically-advanced exhibitor in international label exhibition booths with an oversized booth of more than 600 square meters.

The highlights of this year's event label and packaging line include the latest version of the FB flexo series, the world's first FG combination press, and the Caslon four-color digital inkjet press designed for the first time in the United States for industrial web printing platforms.

New Combination Unit for FB-3300 UV Flexo Labels and Packaging Presses

The live demonstration of the eight-color FB3300 press of the modular UV flexo press FB-LINE series will highlight a completely new design of the printing unit. The new design will enable faster commissioning of equipment operations and anilox roll replacement. These servo-driven printers have a maximum web width of 16.5 inches and speeds of up to 750 feet per minute. The UV unit is equipped with a water-cooled roller to better print heat-sensitive materials. Inline combination screen printing, hot stamping and other embedded modes.

New UV Flexo Press FG-series

Nilpeter will be showcasing the new FG-Series combination press, demonstrating 8-color UV flexo on film, paper and stickers. The new concept combines the advantages of the market's highly successful FA and FB series presses. G stands for globalization, which means that his combination of features gives label printers one of the biggest competitive advantages in the world. Using the lightest sleeve-roller technology, the 13.75-inch web width has led to new trends in sticker printing.

Caslon Four-Color Digital Inkjet Press Debuted in North America

Following a year of surprise at Brussels Expoexpo, Nilpeter will be demonstrating the Caslon inkjet digital press for the first time in North America. It is based on UK-based software development and system integration and uses FFEI to design and jointly develop products. The machine for the demonstration is based on the FA4 platform with a maximum web width of 16.5 inches and is equipped with 2 combined printing units. One is a UV glazing unit and the other is an opaque white priming unit for transparent stickers. This platform also includes rotary die-cutting equipment.

CASLON uses the xaar 1001 Piezo Demand Inkjet Print Head, CMKY inkjet technology for UV printing inks designed for labeling and packaging. The electronic system controller allows the user to print adjustable variable data, or to print individual full-color labels on any material with an optimal print quality of up to 720 dpi x 360 dpi. CASLON can provide eight gray levels at the same time, speeds up to 82 feet per minute. The 360dpi × 360dpi solution makes Nilpeter the fastest inkjet digital press in the industry. This device can also run on other platforms.
