Ticona, USA Introduces Veetran L.cps Liquid Crystal Polymer

Ticona USA introduces Veetran L.cps liquid crystal polymer to the market, which is highly impervious to oxygen, water vapor and odor. It can be used as a conventional packaging resin for retort pouch multilayer films and rigidity for thermoformed disks and lids. The material is extruded together and can also be made into a very thin film of 2.5 μm for use in food and medical packaging where high shielding is required.
