How to Make a Spot Color Plate in PageMaker Software

Spot-color platemaking is the production of only one type of color plate at the time of plate making, without the need for multi-color overprinting, the use of spot color inks for printing, or printing of special colors by ink transfer. Spot colors are mostly on-site density, and there are fewer meshes.

The PageMaker software spot color plate focuses on the submenu “Define Colors” under the palette and menu “Components”. If the print has no more than four colors, the default color in the four basic colors can be used instead of the spot color. Conversely, if there are more than four colors, all the spot density spot colors and halftone spot colors that are pre-made in Photoshop are placed in the PageMaker file. The spot density spot color is in black bitmap mode and can be in Photoshop. Change color.

Method: Select one of the primary colors (red, green, and blue) from the palette, or define a primary color in the submenu's "Define Colors" pop-up dialog box.
