Drum printing common defects and prevention

Some common defects in roller printing and their preventive measures:

1, knife line (knife, knife wire)

Measures:

(1) The barrel surface should be polished to achieve "three lights." That is, the copper ring light before waxing, the surface of the chrome-plated front barrel, and the light pattern and the chromium layer after chrome plating require light;

(2) In the preparation of color paste, the dyestuffs and chemical additives are fully ground to ensure full dissolution, and the original paste must be fully expanded so that there can be no impurities in the prepared color paste to avoid damaging the knife edge;

(3) Printing equipment: a reasonable choice of scraper, according to the pattern, the flower tube carving and color paste properties, a reasonable choice of different thickness and different steel blades. At the same time to properly install the scraper, scraper in the installation of strict control of the four-flat light, that is mounted flat, high and low flat, flat grinding, flat contact with the flower cylinder, knife edge smooth. The scraper blade should be tightly attached to the surface of the cylinder to prevent impurities, such as hard substances or flower coats, mixed in the paste from slipping out of the blade or sticking to the knife edge. Keep the printing equipment clean, ensure that the semi-finished products are clean, and prevent the hard and fine dust particles from intercalating between the warp and weft yarns of the fabric.

2. Inaccurate flowers (wrong flowers)

Measures:

(1) Necklace engraving. To develop a reasonable carving process, the pattern of the flower with high demand, using the borrowing line or small points. In the multi-color pattern, the correct size of the flower cone is used, the length of each flower tube circumference must be accurate, the pattern depth should be the same, and the flower cylinder axis should be kept straight.

(2) printing equipment. When the pressure of the cylinder is properly adjusted, especially for multi-color printing, the correct adjustment of the pressure of the cylinder should be uniform. Differential gear type flower counter devices are generally used. When adjusting the horizontal pair of flowers with the head screws, one end should be relaxed before passing the other end. This will not only ensure the balanced operation of the flower cylinders, but also reduce the mechanical load, which is conducive to the flower.

(3) Interlining. Adjust the tension of the interlining so that the interlining does not cause expansion and contraction when entering each flower cylinder and causes inaccurate flowers. Regularly clean the interlining to ensure that the interlining surface is clean and smooth. The new lining cloth must be pre-treated before use, and it is generally treated with caustic soda to play a certain role in shaping, preventing flash shrinkage after printing and causing inaccurate flowering.

(4) In terms of equipment management. Mechanical parts should be frequently cleaned and maintained. The clearance between the bearing housing and the bearing housing should not exceed 0.15mm at most, and the balance of operation should be maintained. The position of the pressure roller must be adjusted to the center line and maintain the same level, so that after each cylinder is pressurized, its force is concentrated at a point. This is very important for solving the effect of the device on flower precision.

For some pairs of flowers that require a higher, not allow whitening, but also can not have the appearance of the third color of the pattern, in the process of design process to consider the use of anti-imprint process.

3, color paste printed on the fabric color paste after a set of color tube extrusion, stained on the flower cylinder surface, and then spread to the pulp tray, so that the color paste stained discoloration phenomenon. Color transfer is one of the more easily produced defects in printing production.

Measures:

(1)Mechanisms to prevent color transfer: (1) Change the order in which the arranging is arranged so that the colors of the same kind or color are arranged close to each other; (2) add fresh water white pulp; (3) add water jets.

(2) Chemical prevention of color transfer measures: Add appropriate chemicals to discolored colorants to counteract or destroy the colorants that have been transmitted, so that the colorants are protected from color-transmission hazards.

4. Rickets in the applique barrel is mainly due to impurities such as undissolved incomplete dyes and various chemical agents falling into the color paste or attached to the flower cylinder.

Measures: Strictly adjust the pulping procedure during operation to improve the quality of the semi-finished products, and properly install the flower cones and reasonably arrange flower tubes.

5. There are many reasons for the production of mop slurry in the mop, and this must be taken seriously in the production.

Measures: Strictly control the quality of semi-finished products, keep the equipment clean, improve the quality of flower tube carving, and cultivate a good work style.
