Since 1999, Baratta and Beemsterboer started Genesis in a 27,000-square-foot building in Addison, Illinois. The company has been developing steadily. Recently, the printer was planning to purchase a Hewlett-Packard large-format printer/plotter for proofing. With more and more print options available to customers, Genesis also offers many non-print services. Two years ago, the company added corresponding supporting services to its list. Genesis has become a "one-stop shop" in order to meet the challenge, and also provides printing, die-cutting, labeling, and composite services. Baratta emphasized that in addition to these voluntary challenges, Genesis also has to face challenges from its customers. "If the customer does not challenge you, you will stand still," he said.
