American scientists use plasma technology to keep food fresh

Scientists in the United States have invented a method that uses a plasma vapor deposition technique to form a layer of soft polyester film outside a plastic bottle that can keep the food inside the bottle fresh. This plastic surface coating can reduce oxygen by more than 10%.
